Armory XPA

Extra Pale ale

Direct from Portland, this experimental IPA was the christening batch of beer brewed at our Portland Pub!  This XPA boast beautiful caramel flavor balanced by a bitter twist of Nugget and Northern hops and a big citrus kick from Citra, Cascade and Centennial hops.

IBU's: 58   

ABV: 7.2%

 

The Abyss 2011

• 2011 marks the sixth release of The Abyss
• Imperial Stout brewed with blackstrap molasses & brewer's licorice
• "Dry-hopped" with vanilla beans & cherry bark
• 28% aged for 6 months in Bourbon, Pinot, & Oregon Oak Barrels
• Notes of vanilla, chocolate, dark fruit, caramel, toffee, and espresso
• The Abyss is the heart and soul of the Reserve Series

Old Scrooge Christmas Ale (Holiday Release) British style barley wine ale  Old Scrooge is a rich and malty ale with all the character of a fine wine. Intriguing notes of apple, cherry and apricot occur naturally as a result of its unique fermentation and extended aging. Fat Scotch Ale

Born of humble beginnings and of Scotch Heritage, Fat Scotch Ale quietly arrived one winter day at Silver City Brewery in 2001.

Silver City Imperial Stout (Winter Release)
An extremely black beer with massive roasted malt character balanced with assertive hopping from Northwest Chinook hops, fruity esters and a sinister alcohol content. Brewed in late fall/early winter and a is limited release.

Whoop Pass Double I.P.A.
Without a doubt, the boldest and hoppiest mother of a brew Silver City has ever created. More than 50lbs of Washington State Cascade and Columbus hops are infused, injected or otherwise inflicted upon a single 15 barrel batch. Welcome to hop country!

FULL SAIL "25" PALE DOPPELBOCK

Available Year-round beginning September 27th 2012

Brewed to celebrate our 25th Anniversary (September 27, 2012), "25" is a complex, luxurious beer brewed with Vienna Malt and Saaz hops, extended lagering produces full bodied flavors of caramel and honey with a hoppy backbone of white pepper and lemon spice. A beer made for celebration, Full Sail 25 is an elegant Northwest Style Pale Doppelbock. 70 IBU and 9.0% ABV.

Wreck the Halls

This annual favorite is a sublime hybrid of an American style IPA and a winter warmer. The result is a bold brew that celebrates the holidays with an intriguing blend of Centennial hops providing elegant citrus notes balanced by a backdrop of a rich caramel malt body. Dry hopped to amplify the aromas and flavor.  ABV 6.5% IBU 68

 

 

 

 

Brewery Vivant Biere de Garde

Famous in Michigan for farmhouse ales, our friends at Brewery Viviant introduced us to their biere de garde ale yeast strain. From there, we imagined a slightly tart, intentionally dry beer with hints of bergamot citrus that pairs perfectly with French cheeses.

Hops -	Target, Sorachi Ace
Malts -	Pale, Munich, C-120
Fruits/Spice -	Orange Peel
Body -	Medium-Light
Aroma -	Fruity orange and lemon peel, lots of spicy phenolic yeast flavors (clove, peppercorn), fresh herbal tea, fennel, some tropical fruit notes, cellar-like notes.
Mouthfeel -	Starts warm, cloying and boozy with effervescence like a fine champagne, finishes bone-dry- perfect biere de garde style!
Flavor -	Sweet fruit, slight citric tart and mineral-like
Visual -	Light golden straw with a uniform haze & slight sheen; low white head with nice lacing.
ABV -	9%
IBU -	18

 

Imperial Coffee Chocolate Stout

Serving up cold and jet black, this imperial stout should be taken seriously for about one minute as the dark foam builds. Then, enjoy its velvety chocolate-covered smoothness and delicious aroma of sustainably-grown, locally roasted coffee.

Fruits/Spice -	Coffee, Chocolate
Body -	Medium-Full
Aroma -	Rich, with lots of coffee and cocoa/baker's chocolate aromatics. Lots of roasted and rich dark malts.
Mouthfeel -	Smooth lip smacking and mouth coating. Warm, boozy and slight lingering astringency from the espresso.
Flavor -	Sweetness upfront, balanced with a welcome mild bitterness in the middle and finish.
Visual -	Moonless midnight. Opaque black, with tan foam and firm lacing.

The Hearth

A delicious, mahogany-colored winter warmer spiced with cloves, allspice, cinnamon and orange peel. This delicious beer has also been aged on wine-soaked toasted oak chips, giving it a smooth, distinctive finish.

Hop Villain - Canadian Dark Ale

Hop Villain is a bit of a mystery. "Is he a bitter and hoppy IPA?" "Is he a toasty and chocolaty Porter?"  Who Knows? we don't , and he's not telling. What we do know is that Hop Villain combines the solid hop character of the one and the rich malt flavor of the other. Call him a Black IPA, a Cascadian Dark Ale, or an India Dark Ale if you must, The Hop Villain doesn't care, you bring the labels, he'll bring the flavor
